Kafka Café

Winter is already here. So what else we can do except going for a cup of hot coffee and a sweet tasty cake with our best friends.

Today, we would like to show you a great place with a warm and friendly atmosphere – Kafka Cafe.

“Youth is happy because it has the capacity to see beauty. Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.”
― Franz Kafka

Firstly, the location of Kafka is really nice, even if you need to take a short walk from bus stop to the cafe, you will be walking through old district, park and river. Nice, is not it?

The cafe has interesting and stylish design – books are all around you. In addition, there are really soft and huge sofas and, what I like most, the lights are not bright so you can even spend a nice evening with your soulmate here.

Moreover, if you come with a group of friends, you can not only talk but also play some games since they have a lot of them here. We even found game rules in the Russian language as well as Chinese, German etc.  Which was great for us who are not fluent in Polish.

Talking about food and drinks, there is a huge range of options. In Kafka you can have a snack (if you are especially hungry), a piece of cake or chocolate, coffee, tea, hot chocolate or even wine.

While being here, we ordered coffee and a few pieces of different cakes. Everyone was satisfied with their orders – coffee was hot and a piece of cake was tasty. Prices are also affordable for everyone so Kafka can be an everyday place for you.

We were in Kafka on Friday so there were quite a lot of people but we still found a place to sit and enjoy our coffee.

To sum up, I would recommend this place for everyone who wants to spend an evening with a cup of coffee in their hands and nice atmosphere around. Winter might make our hands and noses colder, but our souls are always warm with hot coffee or tea.

P.S. Thank you Polina for taking such nice photos.
