PREPARING FOR LIVING IN POLAND

We encourage you to prepare for your departure carefully and as early as possible, since the completion of all the formalities and preparation of necessary documents is often time consuming.

Here’s a short “TO DO LIST” for you :)

1.Obtain a passport valid during your stay in Poland;

2.Get a Polish student visa (type D) valid for a year (if applicable). Contact the nearest embassy or consulate in your country for more information;

3.Before you go, it is recommended to purchase medical insurance in your country, which will cover your stay in Poland;

4.Obtain confirmation from the bank that you have sufficient funds at the time of training. Later you may need this document to obtain a temporary residence permit in Poland;

5.Translate all the required for admission documents in Polish or English (depending on the selected program). Translations must be made by the sworn translator;

6.You may wish to take few passport size photos (3,5 x 4,5) for different formal purposes (like obtaining a Warsaw travel card) etc.

Invitation letter for a visa:

We will send you a letter of invitation for a year after you enter Kozminski University and pay the first tuition fee.
