I would like to briefly remind you about our latest conference.
First of all – thanks to Katarzyna Pajdowska for organizing such a big, professional event. If not Kasia there wouldn’t be anything like this. She was really determined and involved into this meeting.
The first point of the conference was: speeches made by KU’s students: Roberto Luna, Beniamin Vafidis and Daria Mohammad.
All the speeches were truly interesting. Roberto was talking about creating a brand and his product which is chocolate. Beniamin is such an entrepreneurial student! His speech called “Chasing the lambo” was honestly inspiring. He is running a business which is organizing party trips for students. His new project is an application “FITTED” for people who would like to start work out and keep healthy lifestyle. He told us that some ideas come unexpected like “Café frappe” project which was born few weeks ago while he was talking with friends. Daria’s Speech, our friend from NKM “Kreatywni” relates to all the creative activity running at KU. Starting from New Media Club, blog #studentsinwarsaw, Instagram, KozminskiTV ending on her authorial project Kozminski Snapchat.
Guest of the day was Jerry Domenico. I have to tell you that it is the most optimistic and smiling person I had ever seen during his work. Tittle of the lecture was “Thinking about marketing – start from yourself”. The information dealt during the lecture was to start thinking out of the box, create something new, and start marketing from yourself, because you are the key, it’s dependant on you how others will see you.
Other speeches were made by people working for a longer lenght of time in the field of Marketing, such as:
NADEZDA PROKOPCHENKO with her lecture called “Retail marketing in the fashion industry” – here we could see a lot of innovative ideas of products promotion, and what exactly is retail marketing.
MARCIN SEBASTIAN ROGOWSKI who told us that marketing should lead to valuable products and services, it can’t be just a pretty box with nothing special inside.
ANNA ESLER spoke about outdoor in new release. All the things which are around us, but we don’t see them sometimes: SMS, QR codes, NFC, AR, mobile apps, localization, social media, new technologies.
JUSTYNA PIESIEWICZ emphasized communication and its cohesion. We also get to know that there are 52 types of marketing.
At the end we were able to listen to lecture about “Digital marketing” declaim by PIOTR HASSINE. He made us aware of dispersion of mobile communication.
