Student Profile – Alicja Tomasiewicz

I was born and raised in Poland.

I am keen on learning new languages, ice skating and travelling.This is me with one of my best friends – Kasia – spending winter holidays in the polish mountains.

As a motivated student of Kozminski Bachelor’s degree in Management, I try my best to get actively involved in various activities at the University.  This is why I belong to the New Media Club where I’m writing posts for this amazing blog .
In addition, as I am eager to face new challenges, I have become an active member of the students’ society Erasmus Student Network, and have showed this through my participation in many projects like “International Santa Claus Day “ of which I have gained various skills. Because of these events I have become a proactive and flexible team member. Have you seen ‘Messenger’? I’m one of the coordinators of this monthly newspaper!

I feel that I am cherishing every moment at the Uni and this is shown through my engagement in almost every event and workshop such as the stained glass workshop and the dance course.Me at the workshops!

Furthermore, I am very dedicated to my studies and this is shown through my high GPA, which is a result of a strong work ethic. My goal is to finish the Management program at Kozminski University with excellent grades and afterwards pursue my career in the international environment.

Why Kozminski University in Warsaw?
That’s a funny fact about me because when I was in high school, my biggest dream was to become a dentist so the main subjects I studied were Biology and Chemistry. However, after graduation I had completely different career aspirations because of my network and after hearing of all the opportunities that Kozminski provided.  I can say now, that without a doubt, it was the best decision of my life. I don’t regret it because Kozminski University gives me many rich opportunities to develop myself through a practical and global approach, and learning from students from all around the world.
At Kozminski I have met two friends that I can always count on: Daria and Kasia. We are the best team you can ever imagine – I wish you all to make such friendships! I have also met many amazing international students!
