Within the myriad of cafes, bars and restaurants in Warsaw, there is one, you could say, is very unexceptional. At first glance. Because at the second glance, once you enter the seemingly not-too-big restaurant, one can feel like the world outside evaporated. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Solec 44.

Located on Powiśle, Solec is almost hard to notice among the buildings, traffic and people rushing from one place to another. And that is quite a pity, because the place is worth noticing; it all begins with short stairs leading to a small terrace surrounded by small tea lights. What follows inside is one of the best restaurants a student (international or otherwise) can visit in Warsaw.

With interesting interior design, menu changing once in a while and containing dishes with prices from 10 złotych to five times as much, Solec is an ideal place to hang out and eat with your friends, family or the other half. Good wines, plenty of bright space and nice staff cannot be considered a disadvantage either.

Forget the convenience food put in microwaves right before being served to the client. Get to know high-quality products prepared by excellent chiefs. Get to know Solec 44.
