APOSTILLE (diploma legalization)

In order for a diploma from the foreign countries to be used in Poland, the document must be authenticated or “legalized”.

If you are applying for the Bachelor program, you would have to legalize your high school diploma.

In case you are applying for Master program, you would have to legalize your bachelor diploma.

—————————————————————————————————————-

Foreign credentials (high school/bachelor/master diploma) should be translated into Polish and legalized (apostilled) by the appropriate authority in the country where the diploma has been issued.

The legalization can be made by the Polish Consulate nearest to you place or if the country is the member of Hague Convention the list of appropriate authority you may find on the web site as below.

It may happen that your diploma has been issued in the country with which Poland does not have the agreement on recognition of foreign educational credentials. In this case please ask the Polish Embassy nearest to your place (or the Ministry of Education) to issue certificate confirming that your high school diploma gives your right to apply to any kind of University in the country where the diploma has been issued (does not apply to IB Diploma).

The list of countries that signed the agreement with Poland please find on the web site as below:
